The union government had prevented a large industrial firm from investing 6500 crore rupees in Coimbatore. The firm was threatened and forced to invest, in Gujarat instead.
Also, the union government has crushed industries in Coimbatore through GST, demonetization and agreement with Bangladesh on cotton import.
Modi does not speak about the Janata party's work in the past 10 years. Instead he repeatedly rants about family parties and corruption. Modi has legitimized corruption through electoral bonds.
